The goals of Healthy People 2010 are to improve health and to eliminate health disparities. This conference will give the attendees an opportunity to determine progress toward these goals through viewing and assessing projects related to the NCMHD strategic goals (research, research infrastructures and providing public information and community outreach). Individuals, students and organizations will be given opportunities through poster presentations and paper presentations
(concurrent sessions) to detail the success of their projects based on outcomes evidence.
We welcome representation from Asian American-serving, Hispanic-serving, Native American-serving, women and HBCU/ PBI institutions. We also welcome Asian Americans, women, Native Americans, Hispanics, Hawaiian/ Pacific Islanders, African Americans, and individuals with disabilities to participate in the conference as an attendee, speaker, presenter, exhibitor, supporter or promoter.
